The Spector Internship Program

We currently have openings for hardworking, creative and detail-oriented interns to enter our 12-week intern program. Interns learn from and work alongside professionals in a variety of industries — from technology, defense, energy, green tech and healthcare — acquiring the skills required to succeed in the public relations business.

 

If you feel you have the skills to write well, the initiative to come up with fresh ideas, the appetite to learn about a wide variety of topics and can thrive in a complex yet fun environment, then a Spector internship may be right for you. This is an opportunity that will prove as rewarding as it is demanding of your critical thinking, creativity and composure.

 

At Spector, there are no walls or cubicles, so teamwork, a sense of humor, unbridled enthusiasm and the confidence to speak up are vital to your success. One of the biggest strengths of our team is the varying backgrounds our employees bring to the table, including journalism, economics, public policy and graphic design. While we welcome applicants from all academic and professional backgrounds, prior public relations experience or a BA in communications, public relations or journalism is preferred.

 

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and research skills

• a BA in journalism, public relations or communications is preferred

• Experience in PR or politics is also a strong plus

• Time management and organizational skills

• Internship Commitment: 12 Weeks
